Oculus Quest headsets will soon support multiple users, Facebook has Announced. This functionality allows Quest owners to set up secondary accounts in their headsets, which allow other users to sign in and access content shared by the primary user.
The primary account holder can add up to three secondary accounts and share applications on the same device, however Facebook says you can then share purchases across three headsets; The company may adjust these parameters based on the feedback. Applications are automatically selected for the partition function, but developers can opt out before February 12th.
Quest 2’s Facebook account required Controversial, And surprisingly nothing has changed here – secondary account users have to log in to their own Facebook account. For homes that already have multiple quest users, the features should make life easier.
Facebook says the functionality will come in trial form for Quest 2 next month, meaning it can be alternated in the settings menu before it is released for all Quest headsets, including the original model.
