Flatirons Habitat for Humanity celebrating 25 years building homes

Flatirons Habitat for Humanity will celebrate its 25th anniversary on May 19 in Boulder.

Since its charter in 1993, the nonprofit has built, rehabilitated or repaired homes for 97 families in the Boulder and Broomfield area, according to a Flatirons Habitat for Humanity news release. The organization has also funded the construction of 130 homes around the world.

The Flatirons Habitat for Humanity Spring Party is set for 7 p.m. May 19 at The Studio, 3550 Frontier Ave. Suite A2, Boulder. Tickets are $50 and are available at . The event will feature music by Dixie Leadfoot and the Chrome Struts, Sanitas Brewing beer, food and auctions.

All the proceeds from the party will support the nonprofit, the release said.
